DEDICATED TO RAISING EQUALITY IN CHILDREN’S BOOKS: EQUALITY OF ACCESS, REPRESENTATION AND ROLES IN THE INDUSTRY

Welcome to Moon Lane.

Moon Lane was founded by Tamara Macfarlane in 2003. In 2017 Tamara joined forces with business partner Paul Chin, together they are focused on increasing the reach of Moon Lane to engage in an ever wider community of readers. We have grown from one specialist independent children’s bookshop in London, est. in 2003, into three shops, an expert school supply company, a community project development branch, and an experienced Children’s Literature Festival Consultancy.

What unites all areas of the Moon Lane business is a passion for children reading for pleasure and a dedication to raising equality in children’s books; equality of access, representation and roles in the publishing industry.

This website covers the main areas of our work and services but if you would like to find out more about what we are doing, from our Moon Lane Children’s Festivals of Fun to our inclusive internships and Pop-Up Enterprise Days, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you.
